Starting my 31-day Hydration Challenge with Healthish

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was diligent at making water a part of my daily routine. With no work travel, the need to stop and pee every 32 minutes was removed and the bathroom closest to our home office was mere steps away from our desks.

My husband and I were working out almost every morning, eating healthy and watching our alcoholic beverage intake. But as the months drug on and we all started to spiral into the monotonous hell that became work-from-home and homeschooling; with an (seemingly) infinite amount of WebEx, Skype, Teams, and Zoom calls and an added touch of three times the amount of emails we were used to receiving, my desire to stay the path by eating healthy and keep drinking my daily intake of water needed to stay hydrated, faded into the sea of lost causes like unfinished home projects and laundry.

Enter: Healthish.

Healthish water bottle

Short and simply put, it’s a water bottle. They’re a dime a dozen, right? You can find whatever kind of water bottle you need practically anywhere these days. I’ve got quite a few myself that I have accumulated over the years. But when Emily, the co-founder of Healthish, reached out about their 30-day hydration challenge and her company that is empowering women and men to drink more H2O by using the sleek and chic, sustainable and reusable water bottle designed by her company, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get involved!

May 1st started my own month-long hydration challenge to drink 64+ ounces of water a day. It was a necessary and needed initiative aided by the fact that my husband and I will be spending ten days on the Hawaiian islands of Kauai and Maui in August. We made a goal and a commitment to be beach ready when this incredible trip rolls around and that starts with us getting in the right mindset and making hydration a priority.

The Healthish water bottle makes it simple and easy to track your daily intake. Filling it up twice a day equates to around 68 ounces, so a little more than what is recommended. The times listed on each side of the bottle take you from 7 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 7 PM PM every day, making it very simple and easy to remind yourself when to drink your water. Other features include:

  • Light and Durable
  • BPA Free
  • Reusable and Sustainable
  • 1 liter bottle
  • Leak Free
  • 1 Healthish water bottle saves 30 plastic bottles from oceans and landfills
  • Bonus: It fits in your car’s cup holder! 🙌🏻

There are so many benefits of drinking water daily and staying hydrated. As a full-time working mom of three with a husband I adore and a social life we try and keep up with – it’s imperative we’re doing all we can to take care of our bodies. As women, it’s important and vital to our overall health and well-being. The best part about it all – water is FREE!
